For many years I was a BBC arts correspondent covering the UK theatre scene. In 2017 I changed jobs but I still love to escape to the theatre as often as I can. With London’s West End just a Boris bike ride away, I thought I’d get back into writing about the plays, the actors, the creatives and the excitement of opening nights.
